Since the 1990s, the U.S. military has researched optimal energy sources for soldiers in active duty, finding ketones to be highly effective for enhancing endurance and cognition. While the human body produces ketones naturally, it does so in limited amounts.

Through a groundbreaking research partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Ketone-IQ observed that raising ketone levels in the body provides benefits like cognitive efficiency, decreased reaction times, and increased blood oxygen levels in physically demanding situations—and developed a method to create ketone molecules and manufacture them at scale.
