Limited support to drive email
marketing success

AuthenTEAK delivers exceptional quality and service from its 20,000-square-foot Atlanta showroom, while also building a strong and expanding online sales presence. Email marketing has become a key element in driving their e-commerce success.

According to Alix Beverley, Director of E-Commerce at AuthenTEAK, leadership is proud of its highly skilled product marketing team and recognizes the expertise and perspective each member brings to the table. Prior to partnering with Rejoiner, team members from acquisition, creative, and catalog collaborated with leadership and a well-known email service provider (ESP) team to manage email priorities.

In the last year of service, the ESP shifted focus and resources, leaving the AuthenTEAK team without an account manager. Losing their direct contact meant a disruption in personalized support and long queues for technical assistance. “Thankfully, we never had to address any true fires,” says Beverley. “But if the health of our account was ever in question, we wouldn’t have gotten the answers we needed.”

The small AuthenTEAK team didn’t have the capacity to dedicate a full-time team member to email marketing strategy, so it was difficult to optimize and maintain email campaigns.

Once they got on a call with Mike Arsenault, Rejoiner’s founder, Beverley knew they were on to something.

Exceeding expectations with greater efficiency and revenue

Rejoiner’s strategy guidance and granular level A/B testing have helped AuthenTEAK expand their email automation, increase their customer touchpoints, and successfully tailor and target emails—leading to transformative results in several areas:

  • Efficient workflows: AuthenTEAK’s team now saves substantial time on development, scheduling, testing, and building campaigns, freeing up resources to focus on new initiatives. Beverley explains, “Mike can take a 10 A/B test cycle down to one cycle because he's already seen this work across 15-20 other accounts. This jumping-off point cuts down the process significantly.”
  • Enhanced engagement: Increased testing and an emphasis on storytelling have helped AuthenTEAK improve their email content quality, resulting in better performance overall. In the 10 months since implementation, AuthenTEAK has seen a 105% increase in email click rates and a 33% increase in click-through rates. Monthly click and click-through rates average 20% and 29% respectively.
  • Reduced unsubscribe rates: By refining targeting and automation, AuthenTEAK decreased their monthly unsubscribe rates by an impressive 54%.
  • Revenue growth: With the increased engagement, email-driven revenue grew by 22% with $2.3M in attributed revenue—making email a top-performing channel and outpacing other marketing efforts.
